Wilton Children’s Theater (“WCT”) Refund Policy
Please take a few minutes and read this policy and submit acknowledgment at bottom.
In the event you must withdraw your child (hereinafter the “Participant”) from a show for which your child has registered, you may receive a refund only as defined below:
All requests for a refund must be sent via email to the producers of the program in which the participant was registered. Telephone or text messages will not be accepted. The date of a refund request shall be determined by the date the email was received and must include the following information:
Participant’s name
Show for which Participant was registered
Person to whom the refund check should be issued
Address where refund check should be mailed
Reason for refund request (see below for more detail)
Fall or Winter Productions (also known as School Year Shows):
A full (100%) refund will be given if the participant is NOT selected for the cast from the lottery.
If a participant is selected from the lottery and chooses not to accept the spot, they must notify the producers within the acceptance deadline (deadline set by producers by which the participant must affirm that they want to join the cast) that they will not be accepting the spot. A full (100%) refund will be given. Note: Once a refund is requested, the spot will be given to a member of the waitlist and will no longer be available to the original participant.
If a participant has accepted a spot on the cast, they have 48 hours after the acceptance deadline (deadline that is set by producers by which the participant must affirm that they want to join the cast) to change their mind. A full (100%) refund will be given. Note: Once a refund is requested, the spot will be given to a member of the waitlist and will no longer be available to the original participant.
If the request is made at least 14 calendar days (2 weeks) before the first day of auditions, WCT will refund 50% of the registration fee regardless of waitlist status.
After the time periods stated above, NO refunds will be given for any reason except in cases of emergency, illness, change in life/home situation. An appeal must be made to the Executive Producer (VP) and the entire Executive Board must unanimously agree to the refund.
Summerstage and Summerstage, Jr!
A full (100%) refund will be given if the participant is NOT selected for the cast from the lottery.

(SUMMERSTAGE and SUMMERSTAGE JR, only) If the request is made at least 7 calendar days (1 week) before the first day of auditions, WCT will refund 50% of the registration fee regardless of waitlist status.

Any amount forfeited will be considered a donation and the donor can request a tax receipt by emailing the Executive Producer / VP.
